🌱 Intern Therapy Program

Our unique internship program at Evolution of Self Counseling and Consulting creates meaningful benefits for both local graduate students and our community. We are committed to developing highly skilled, ethically grounded clinicians while increasing access to quality mental health care for children, teens, and adults.

Our interns receive specialized training and support in evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, including:

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

• Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT)

• Dissociation Treatment & Structural Dissociation

• Play Therapy (Theraplay-informed)

• Trauma-Focused Therapies

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Interns participate in both weekly individual and group supervision, ensuring close mentorship and clinical oversight. In addition, they receive advanced training opportunities such as weekly Structural Dissociation training and participation in our intensive DBT Boot Camp.

This structured, supportive model allows us to provide high-quality, affordable care to the community while cultivating the next generation of deeply trained, trauma-informed clinicians.
